      Pros

      Stable company and very organized. Follows the German mindset where everything is process driven in an engineering sort of way.

      Cons

      Management is almost entirely Linde lifers and as a result are unable to generate an independant thought. Any sort of thought process out of the Linde way will be dealt with harshly. Unable to think independantly or change tactics. As long as you adhere to the compnay line, work long hours and do not try to identify where the real issues are you will be fine. Focus on doing the same thing over, give lip service to the results of corporate surveys and continues on. Additionally the HR departmnet is a terrible joke to he point employees just give up trying to accomplish anything through them.

      Pros

      *Low to mid level people are generally pleasant to work with. *If you're happy taking orders from your manager and simply executing by following cookie cutter processes, you'll probably be fine.

      Cons

      *Management at the top is inbred. There's little to no outside blood to bring in fresh ideas. *Creativity is low. You need to stick to the script set by others in Germany or the head office in New Jersey. *There's an intense cutthroat atmosphere among many middle managers. People in other departments are frequently all to happy to see their peers fail and seem to fear it will expose their own weaknesses. *Some of the most important people reporting to the President Pat Murphy are real dogs - For example, one is clearly ADD and another is OCD. Beware!

      Pros

      Good flexibility and benefits. Some great people I had the pleasure to work with. Great opportunities for training and advancement in the past. However, lately (past 4 years) no training or career advancement opportunities. If you are looking to growth within an organization this is not the place for you. It was so in the past but not presently.

      Cons

      Expected overtime without pay (it might vary by department). Unspoken "silence" policy, you are not encouraged to socialize with coworkers.
