      A Good Company Getting Worse

      Pros

      Pleasant local work environment. Minimal politics at the RBU level. Mostly good people who want to do good work. Excellent benefits.

      Cons

      The culture driven from Global HQ is stifling. Bureaucracy and micromanagement rule the day, however little upfront guidance is given to allow people to plan their time or work efficiently. People orientation is scarce. Leaders receive inadequate training on how to lead people. Performance Management is mostly given lip service. The mindset too often is, “Just be quiet and be happy to have a job.” Now even jobs are less secure.

      Pros

      As with most jobs, secure livelihood until its not.

      Cons

      Lack of oversight from top down and it shows. Large recurrent turnover of production line employees. Bring more in, treat and manage the same, leave and repeat. Total lack of respect for individual contributions and limited team function and therefore strength. NO work life consideration.

      Truck Driver

      Pros

      If you are looking for a good driving job with spot on training ... this is the place to be . They will train you up to be a effective , knowledgeable safe driver . Extremely safety oriented and they stress safety . If a job is not safe they expect you to not undertake it . Management is very knowledgable about the product you haul and they will help through every aspect of it . Company has a great CSA score and inspections are minimal .
