Pros

Benefits - health insurance, free meals, COVID stipend

Cons

No upward mobility Managers had 'favorites' who progressed upward In 2021, over 15+ NAMER team members left the company entirely due to poor Managers and no pay increase They brought in external hires instead of promoting longtime, internal employees (which caused the mass wave of people leaving) Managers we're not supporting/active in assisting team members who wanted to move internally (did not offer to assist in any way) When team members left in droves, their work was dispersed to the remaining team for months on end, with 0 increase in compensation Additionally, we were tasked with training new team members who were 1-2 levels above us (yet they were younger than us) Compensation team had a meeting with our team and presented a slide chart confirming we were getting paid below tech industry average
