Pros

While it may seem appealing on their website, you don’t want to work there

Cons

LI, as it is today, is a place where interns com to die. It’s a place where you won’t learn anything valuable for your future career. You may learn how LI works, but it’s all in-house. There’s no valuable knowledge that you can learn from working here After LI was acquired by MS, it’s no longer the same company it was a couple of years ago. It has its own - rather bad - in-house software, which they can’t afford to have good developers to work on. So they only hire contractors these days to make it function for the time being. There’s no future for any intern’s who come to work here. All you’ll learn is LI infrastructure, which is useless for you if you plan to have any future. My suggestion: avoid at all costs! P.S. I’ve been working for LI since 2015. It’s not a place where you want to work.

Pros

-Generous time off i.e. Shutdown week (July and December), LIftUp, InDay. -Employee Resource Groups, emphasis on diversity and inclusion -Healthcare and Dental premium paid for (although keep in mind that you still have to pay for visits) -solid Work/Life balance

Cons

-pay is egregiously substandard compared to the overall tech industry -Company Shutdown for Support have gradually been chipped away. This was a 'perk' that was brought when I was initially hired however with the emphasis to staff chat support, this time off is being stripped away and you are being forced to work! ** -mobility is based more on how much you kiss up to management rather than skills -Lack of transparency, there is never a concrete answer for anything pertaining to procedures, etc.
