Pros

Catering, work group events, meetup groups, etc. This is definitely somewhere to learn and get better.

Cons

The work culture didn't feel welcoming. Didn't feel valued working with them. My co-workers were great to work with, however higher ups were not as great.

Pros

Strong team with good rapport and skill in various areas of development. The software we build is also interesting to work on and the whole team is involved in decision making. Everyone works well with each other, and new employees get into the stride of things quickly. Company is moving away from an ancient codebase and is willing to trust developers with the direction and tech of new code.

Cons

Having to live in New Jersey. Atmosphere with other teams can be a bit rough. CEO is not willing to budge on remote work. Fixed hours even for devs is silly, but not enforced. CEO has historically not done right by the company, but is clearly turning a new leaf.

Not too bad if you're starting out.

Pros

Good place to gain experience quickly. If you're fresh out of school and are motivated and smart you can very quickly move into greater responsibilities but you do have to work for it. It can also be a lot of fun if you end up working with the right people. Just make sure that your personality fits the existing culture and you'll generally have a good time. Work-Life balance is usually good in support. Can't really speak on other departments.

Cons

Pay is really bad, especially for the area. From what I saw when I left they were getting a little better about this but overall it's still below average for the knowledge you'll need to have. While it is easy to get a gig here that cuts both ways. You can get your shoe in the door really easily but so can a lot of really untalented people. The Support Managers are getting better about screening out those people but it's still painful to interact with the less knowledgeable coworkers.
