It was chaotic

Pros

It was a remote position. The compensation and the private health insurance was good.

Cons

There were lots of manual processes for a company that talks too much about automation. They weren't open to purchase software licenses for our team, so we were making our schedules in spreadsheets instead of using MS Project or a similar software.

It's not a bad place to learn the ropes of a new industry as long as you bring high-value skills to your team

Cons

Micromanagement, low pay, long hours (OT requires pre-approval so you'll do extra work for no additional pay), no sick days, nonsensical security measures inhibit daily work
