This company is in the process of dying
Pros
All pros I could mention are only due to it being a small company with a close knit group of supportive coworkers but I believe that environment left along with its employees.
Cons
The business model and more specifically the owner is nothing short of awful. He preys off new developers from a specific training program to be able to pay as low of a salary as possible and still only has 1/2 the number of developers needed for an application its size. There is also no proper training practices or standards, and as a result the application is a hot mess. The business makes most of its money from sign on and onboarding fees and most clients leave as soon as possible. The owner only maintains his clients by promising features on insane timelines and dropping the work on his employees without any consideration for the complexity or time necessary, forcing them to work insane hours for no extra compensation. Worst is that the owner is also an uncompromising narcissist. He will refuse to accept that he creates more problems than he solves and will publicly shame his employees as a means of proving himself right.
