Pros

Casual work environment, flexible working hours, accessibility to senior folks, and depending on your team, in my case, great teammates.

Cons

Unfortunately, I've learned the hard way that the very senior executives at Live Nation have zero interest in retaining talent and has said as much through their actions by eliminating the 401k match, keeping salaries fixed year-over-year, proudly stating that annual reviews are just not done here, restricting bonuses to a few key C-level execs, and leaders purposefully dodging career development questions. I have never been more disappointed by the leadership of any organization than here at Live Nation. I advise prospective job seekers to pass on LN Corporate--it is not worth the heartache, abuse, and frustration. There is just simply no recognition, reward or opportunity for advancement. Promotions are not based on merit but rather haphazard chance. I have not even begun to scratch the surface of the discontentment across the organization and it is growing by the day. It really pains me to see such great talent wrangled in and left to waste-all because these executives truly think that there is an unlimited supply of stellar talent just waiting at the LN doorstep clamoring to get in.

Pros

If you love music, you will be surrounded by all aspects of it.

Cons

Senior Execs know-it-all, but are quick to blame/punish those who have no choice but to execute their poor, shortsighted, schemes when they fail. Rampant nepotism. No innovation or growth, they rely on doing only what has worked before. Speaking up or offering new ideas is a sure way to get yourself pegged as a trouble maker. Sure enough, when a competitor starts to successfully employ the very idea you offered months before, the idea is now Brilliant!!

Pros

- Casual work environment (wear jeans, listen to music) -Looks good on a resume -Generally interesting business -Industry leader -Free tickets (although mostly for 3rd and 4th tier performers in generally mediocre seats)

Cons

- Little direction from upper management. - Many layers of management- It's unclear who you report to, which makes prioritizing duties difficult - Little opportunity for advancement within the company... most leave to move up
