Pros

Respect - does the company care about its employees on a personal level? Definitely. Flexibility - have personal matters and need to shift working hours a bit? No problem. Diversity Inclusion and Belonging initiatives progressing well - plenty of internal groups to get involved with and contribute to on that front.

Cons

Widespread incompetence - once you start to drill into the details, not many people really know what they’re talking about. Many slip through the cracks by deferring accountability to others. Beware, as people will continually bring their problems to you and get away with it - even their managers+ will often not have an effective gauge on how to resolve a day to day situation. Political playground - a pro for some, if you’re good at playing the game, you can do pretty well within the system. Con for most though probably. Beware, as 1+1 does not always equal 2 here. Meeting extravaganza - way too many meetings. This is likely a stretch, but it seems like many people try to fill their calendars in attempt to prove they are accomplishing things when they’re really just wasting others’ time. Very detractive overall. In line with the first con where a lot of people aren’t equipped with the knowledge and skills to accomplish anything on their own or don’t care to improve. Technical pigeon hole - if you’re considering a non-dev technical role, beware, as you won’t develop many transferrable technical skills here (outside of general ad tech). Zero coding, 101 level file and data stuff. Morale - a bit of an aggregation of the above, I never got the impression that any of my peers ever really looked forward to coming to work. A lot of smiles and proper grammar but very little depth beyond that. At the end of the day, for anybody looking to truly build their career in a value added, supportive, growth environment, I’d say stay away. You’ll quickly find yourself saying “🤯”

Pros

I’ve been here for a few months and I’m in awe of the culture. The workload is intense, yes, but I have had incredible, patient coaching as a new hire and people have gone out of their way to make me feel welcome and included. Everyone is so good natured and down to earth and I feel like they really want to help. I feel hope and excitement to be at LiveRamp and am genuinely happy to be here. Would definitely recommend the company for anyone with a hard work ethic and a good nature, looking to grow. Also compensation is really fair!!!!

Cons

It’s a little tough joining remotely when there’s a strong connection with people in the office, but that’s true everywhere. Also the healthcare benefits aren’t super great coverage for someone out of state, but they’re not awful, either.
