Pros

Small size, startup attitude. Workers are friendly and the office fixtures promote team work and camaraderie. Beer available in break room daily.

Cons

Small shop, small thinking. Management entrenched and clueless. No direction regarding tasks. Constantly changing priorities. No internal IT help desk. High turnover and lots of firings. High level management are the priority when they have any problem.

Nothing positive to say about management

Pros

The employees are wonderful! Casual dress atmosphere...that's about it.

Cons

In response to a previous review, professional development is most definitely NOT promoted or supported- unless you consider sitting at a booth, occasionally chatting with clients to be professional development. In fact, every proposed opportunity by my team was blatantly ignored by the single person who calls all the shots- despite what it may say in the employee handbook or "benefits" discussed during interviews. As nearly all previous reviews noted, one person controls the office. This person's business acumen is questionable at best and has very clear biases. 6 employees left for better offers/ less toxic work environments in a short period of time. The truly odd thing is that employee departures are not acknowledged. When the sole HR representative quit, no one was notified. Most people found out over coffee in the break room. Also, mgmt dismisses employee departures as one offs, rather than consider how their actions, or lack of action may have caused people to quit. The list goes on. Overall, great employees to work with but poorly managed. Period. And the previous review regarding people viewing high expectations as a con is not only ridiculous and insulting but blatantly untrue. All employees worked hard- a fact only intermittently acknowledged.

Stunningly Impulsive and Unprofessional

Pros

Pretty good tech platform for managing higher education assessment data.

Cons

Leadership caste has a habit of obsessing over the trivial and dithering over everything else. Sales management seems to delight in piling administrative and personal servant duties on the staff. Onerous reporting duties, ongoing (and never-ending) product training, unnecessary travel to corporate for MONTHLY sales meetings and "just to work out of the office for a few days, just 'cuz" are a continual productivity drain. Commissions paid out ANNUALLY in April for the previous calendar year (as if anyone hangs out that long). Worst of all, though, is putting together a weekly reporting "suite" that must include a "reflection" piece. It's apparent primary purpose is to serve as a basis for criticizing and ridiculing the sales staff. Additional demands are delivered by hostile e-mails on a more or less daily basis. Not only the worst and most unprofessional workplace I've experienced, but also the worst I've ever HEARD of in 20 years of business.
