Pros

Small size, startup attitude. Workers are friendly and the office fixtures promote team work and camaraderie. Beer available in break room daily.

Cons

Small shop, small thinking. Management entrenched and clueless. No direction regarding tasks. Constantly changing priorities. No internal IT help desk. High turnover and lots of firings. High level management are the priority when they have any problem.

The people here are talented and friendly. There is free breakfast/company outings at least once a year...there is not much that I enjoyed about being here.

Cons

"Management" (one person in particular) is running the entire show...without knowing how the show is run.

LiveText, Inc. is a great organization for individuals with growth mindsets who understand the importance of change and being able to manage change in order to continue to grow within his/her role and with the company as a whole. The company offers an open office environment which is great for collaboration with other team members/departments. This is a team of strong-minded professionals who are passionate about education, so as you can imagine, discussions can be lively. On the benefits side of it, the company has summer hours, once a month Friday Happy Hours, and a week off between Christmas and New Year as just some of the perks. Expect to work hard and feel accomplished.

Cons

Multi-tasking functions and roles. However, if you are well organized this should not be a problem.
