Pros

The people were some of the smartest people I've worked with in my career and all seemed extremely motivated and encourage people to take on responsibility. I felt like I could go to anyone for help and get an answer. They have cutting-edge technologies attracting really fun clients to work with. I was consistently engaged in creating new marketing solutions and campaigns that had never been done before for the biggest apps. There was something exhilarating in consistently working with "the next big" app months before its launch.

Cons

Fewer formalized processes - you have to be comfortable finding answers where there is no manual. The Flip side of working on the newest technologies on flagship apps and pushing the envelope is sometimes things break and you need to manage the situation and come up with a fix quickly. Getting office space was difficult or a quiet moment was difficult but this might be fixed by the new office space. Creature comforts were also a little lacking, but seem to be getting better every year, like free beer.

Pros

Look, I'm not going to sugarcoat this review. I am not someone who typically posts on these things, but I felt compelled to share. The company is in THE hottest market, and a market that is still in it's infancy. We are creating awesome tools and literally defining a space. People here are great. It's a great culture, and while people may say it's a "cliquey", the same can be said for many high growth tech companies. We are talking to the most forward thinking companies in the world and building tools for the next generation marketer. Comp is very aggressive if you're a top performer. Great location and a very loose office atmosphere.

Cons

Like most startups, things break from time to time. There could be a more clearly defined growth trajectory and leadership, but its a startup, and you have to blaze your own path. Leadership could do a better job of listening and meeting with senior folks to better understand what they're hearing. Communication could be better, but this isn't a Fortune 500 company. You join a startup because you can help shape the cons into pros.

Pros

Striking a balance between competition and comradery is a challenge for all sales departments, but Localytics has perfected it. It is not hard to remain upbeat and energetic when the product you are selling is thorough and adds real value to the end user or when you are surrounded by sales talent. Fantastic experience, keep up the good work!

Cons

none, i have never been more satisfied by an employer
