LM is the Best Aerospace Company

Pros

I have worked at Boeing and Pratt & Whitney, and Lockheed Martin is the best so far. They do not have a staffing problem, they have guaranteed raises each year, the people who work here love their jobs, great work-life balance, and great flexible schedule.

Cons

I've only been at LM for a few months. The grass seems greener over here for now. I hope it stays this way.

Pros

You will be working at some of the most exclusive sites in the world, including launch areas, and see rocket launches firsthand. The corporate culture is inclusive and tries to be fair.

Cons

It depends on which program you are on. Some programs are LM based so opportunities are really unlimited. Some programs are a subcontract so as an architect you are really limited in what you are able to work on and growth opportunities just aren't there since you're required to meet a contract requirement.

Promotions are political. Takes time for change to happen
