      Great summer experience!

      Pros

      This was my first summer internship and it was a great experience. Each Lockton office operates independently, so this only applies for the Dallas office. I really learned a lot about insurance and risk management. Interns were exposed to many different areas of the company, and the office has a really great/positive atmosphere. Good work life balance.

      Cons

      The program was a little bit undeveloped. I felt as though I wasn't being a useful asset to my team for a good majority of the time. It would've been great to have had a crash course in insurance before getting thrown into the thick of it.

      a lot of work with some duties that are not yours spilling over to you.

      Pros

      The culture at Lockton is great. Everyone is very knowledgeable and service clients as partners.

      Cons

      There isn't a sound training program. So much is learned on the job so it is hard to develop a strategic training program, but a little more guidance would be helpful.
