Pros

Interesting creative events happening every month at the New Bond Street space (prior to COVID) Small perks such as food, champagne and grooming allowance. Allowance for staff activities. This role is very much akin to account management for high profile or high net worth clients, and also small buying businesses that export to Asia. Shop floor sales are actually quite a small part of the role. If you enjoy managing client requests and expectations and doing administrative fulfilling of orders then this job would be enjoyable for you.

Cons

Can be long hours and you are expected to be on call for any client at any time of the day. Poor growth opportunities. Management in Europe/UK are mostly gay white European men (or good-looking white men picked out by the gay men in higher positions). It seems that women and women of colour do not get as much of a chance to move up. Definitely feels like they have made an effort to have a diverse sales team, which is great, but this should also feed into the management team. It definitely felt like there was favouritism towards the European colleagues (French) because of management.
