As one review already mentioned, administration and management only respond to new ideas if you have the appropriate title next to your name--meaning, don't go above your pay grade. Initiative is not reward but instead you may be reprimanded if you didn't go through the proper bureaucrat channels.

Administrators say they are open to new ideas, but employees who share ideas outside the current procedures are thought of as being negative, even if a new process could benefit employees and/or students. Unethical actions taken by administrators, but employees who witness it and point out those actions are thought to not be a team player. Toxic environment for employees and students.
