Good company, but too much bureaucracy and petty politics

Pros

Good benefits, fairly good perks, cool products to play with, a great work/life balance and lots of fun - the Hallowe'en festivities at Logitech are among the best I've ever seen. The current CEO, Guerrino De Luca, came out of retirement to help out the company and he is very good.

Cons

Salaries are on the low side. Way too much inter-departmental politics and clique-building. Management doesn't seem to have much of a direction (though with Guerrino's return, that problem will probably lessen) and there are too many middle managers. There is also too much nepotism.

Where is this company heading?

Pros

Overbloated salaries to senior managers and low ranking managers alike!

Cons

Small minded senior execs, unable to see the big picture, too uneducated to understand basic market principals at the MBA level. Execs steal other employees ideas to label as own, and this is integrated into a unhealthy 'company culture'.
