Pros

With the new leadership, Logitech feels like it's on an interesting trajectory. Lots of opportunity to work on fun projects, good access to leadership. CEO is awesome, very visible, motivating and effective.

Cons

Top-management heavy and tension between Swiss HQ tendency to react verrrry slowly to industry trends, build consensus and generally lumber along in a space where being nimble is critical. Also, flat organization makes promotions almost impossible.

Pros

The people are simply professional (most). The company is very consumer focused and is listening to the consumers. It is clearly a high-tech and high-quality environment where people are important contributors.

Cons

As a European, I've seen the company power moving more and more to the US from where most decisions are taken. This is not a good tendency and a very short-term thinking. You cannot run a global structure successfully out of the US. People think different in different parts of the world. Too many products in the past lead to bad focus. Looks like it has become better over the last 2 years.

Pros

Logitech has some of the most exciting computer peripheral products. The degree to which product quality is validated is worthy of mentioning. Company feels like a mini United Nations in many ways and has a very unique model of internal and outsourced production.

Cons

This is a classic case of finding own worst enemy in themselves. The internal politics and regional (Europe vs US vs Asia) clashes took down what could have been a great company. Very unfortunate.
