Pros

Incredible Freedom, unlimited vacation, free soda, being a part of something bigger than myself. Helping people get the best tools for Bible study on the planet.

Cons

I'm not the smartest person in the building anymore. So much opportunity, it is sometimes hard to know what to go after next. Too many options can be frustrating at times.

Pros

A great place to get intensive experience. Lots of ambitious and smart coworkers. Little to no micromanaging. Flexible work hours.

Cons

Employees in particular departments are thought of as expendable (most visibly Marketing and CS). Success is not clearly defined, and therefore unattainable. Marketing has different values & culture than the company as a whole, which can be misleading or confusing.

Pros

Employees have a tremendous amount of flexibility—unlimited vacation time, flexible work hours, etc. I never feel micro-managed. The company is structured to get things done. I had access to the tools I needed to do my job effectively.

Cons

Sometimes impatient. There's a general unwillingness to invest in a loss leader. We seem willing to burn down any forest in the name of "cash is king". I can't be too critical, because it seems to be working.
