Pros

There's great time off - 4 weeks a year for most employees, and some employees get the winter and Easter breaks off as well. Some positions get summer Fridays, but they took that away for most people. You can definitely make your job a 9-to-5 type of gig if you want to get home to your kids.

Cons

The salary is awful - they charge students plenty to attend, but yet they pay their employees less than CUNY pays its employees. The Brooklyn Campus is really run down - doors and desks are broken, paint is peeling, etc. This makes it a lousy place to spend your days. The surrounding neighborhood is sketchy in some areas. There isn't much expected of students or faculty here.
