      Pros

      I am a relatively new hire for Long View (less than a year). I've worked with Long View as a client for a few companies and have had great experiences. This is the first time I've been inside. I'm really impressed by the depth of the staff and how they support each other when they are solving problems for clients. It is common to see email posts like "I'm working for client xx and they have run into a unique problem configuring solution y. Has anyone run across this?" It's amazing how often and quickly a solution pops up.

      Cons

      My impression is that Long View suffered some growing pains and had to respond to tough market conditions over the last few years. However, things have started to pick up and there is a renewed focus on training and personal development which is great to see.

We really appreciate your perspective from both the client and employee side; it sounds like you had and are continuing to have a good experience with us. You are correct that the market conditions were less than desirable but we are excited about the positive turn that the economy is taking now. Training and personal development was and still is very important to us and we continue to put an emphasis on it . We are glad to hear that you appreciate the work/life balance that we offer and feel supported personally! That's what we want for all of our employees. Although we did make a change to our Canadian benefits plan last year, it now offers our staff more choices and we’d like to go through that with you in more detail. This would also be a great opportunity to explain how our incentives work so please connect with your PS Advisor or Manager as they would be very happy to help you understand both.
