Pros

At my location, the managers are cool, good medical & paid holidays & vacation. I honestly have a second family with Long’s. You just have to do your work, have great customer service skills, & you’ll be fine.

Cons

Raises are minimal & pay isn’t the greatest. There’s visits from upper management occasionally. Which sends everybody in a frenzy.

When company was an active player in the retail pharmacy market management ran these stores like a close knit family. Therefore, the spirit of employees was high.

Cons

Many stores were in very good market environments, and some of them were always short of pharmacists and clerks to handle busy days
