Pros

Paycheck, pleasant coworkers, free coffee and soda, good vacation and holiday pay.

Cons

Sink or swim. There is no on boarding or training. Employees are set up for failure and must rely on their own wits and Intel gathering to find out what their duties are and how to go about them. Very clique management environment full of intimidation, passive aggressive behavior, blaming and outright bullying. Employees who are unfortunate enough to get one of the many demeaning managers will be constantly scrutinized, demeaned and micro managed. Like to be a part of a team that works together enthusiastically to accomplish a goal? Sorry, not here. In fact, if you and your coworkers take initiative to get the job done well together, you may incurr the wrath of your manager and will quickly be corrected and reminded that you are stupid and you do not matter. Expect this to happen cyclically as you begin to make great progress and work well as a team. You will be shown your place. Need to work from home once in a blue moon? Sorry. Only management can work from home (whenever they like for no reason at all and repeatedly on Fridays). How will you know you are appreciated? Well, line up boys and girls because once a month will be cake day where you are privileged to get a piece of carrot cake or chocolate cake from Publix. There, that should fix all the emotional scars management has inflicted upon you this month. A common question is..."what does he/she do?" You will encounter employees who serve no purpose and do nothing, but they were grandfathered in during acquisitions and are kept around for no good reason. And they can also work from home whenever they want and as frequently as they want. There is no concrete HR structure. You are on your own. Take any issues carefully to your manager or your manager's boss and pray that your issue doesn't bite you back in the end. I could go on and on. I have experienced the worst corporate environment ever since joining her a few years ago and I would not wish this on my worst enemy. I've seen many good people move out and on to better companies. If you are looking for something, do yourself a favor and avoid Lonza.

Pros

The location is in a less congested part of north Atlanta. Business complex where the campus resides is nice and safe, with sidewalks, ponds, good access to the Forsyth Greenway.

Cons

Middle management is desensitized and lack innovation, and leadership team shares an ostrich mentality and deny the unproductive and disorganized processes in Their organization. Many employees from various acquired companies still holding on to how they did things back in the day. No integration into a united company.
