Pros

Great Company to work for. Very clear goals to work toward your next promotion. Company has great benefits and will work with employees to try new positions to find what suits them.

Cons

None come to mind, other than things can be stressful in an FDA regulated environment. If you are looking at this, then you are probably already expecting that though.

Pros

Getting to work alongside some of the pharma industries most talented, motivated people. Company Health Benefits, and the ability to work on cutting edge medicines and infrastructures very cool stuff.

Cons

As with any company there is 80% you love and 20% you wish you could change. Lonza is an Old well respected / established company and embracing change / new technologies at times takes longer than I would like.

I have enjoyed every minute of my time at Lonza. At that time, the management believed in employee empowerment. So I have designed my work management to deliver the task on time and within budget.

Cons

They did not trust non-swiss employee. For this reason there was always a wave of swiss employee joining the site.
