Notable opportunities to create / drive change Customer-focused Lonza is involved in several interesting markets with some novel technologies and services in its offering. Global company with some opportunities for advancement.

Cons

Impulsive management that has difficulty with creating and executing strategies Inability to stick to their plans results in missing goals, which leads to budget shortfalls and lower annual, and long-term, compensation benefits. Lack of diversity at the top. A number of sites (not exclusive to any one of the major Lonza Sectors) are dysfunctional, so do your homework if you're looking to join.

Pros

Lonza is a great company for motivated people. In my experiance I have never been told no, you can't do that unless it's been for a good reason. Associates encourage their peers and are willing to help new associates learn. Career advancement is fair and rewards hard workers. Management definitly leads and communicates.

Cons

On the flip side to highly mootivated associates there are people at Lonza that like where they are and don't want to challenge themselves...people have been in the same position for year which works for them but can be frustrating to work with at times when tasks need to be done.
