Pros

Job stability Benefits Depending on where you work, it's a learning experience.

Cons

Workload is insane. Toxic people always trying to get you into trouble for little things. Training not provided, you have to learn as you go. The union only protects accused and not the victims Lots of Nepotism Lack of leadership Lack of teamwork mentality Lack of safety protocols Constant osha violations b/c buildings are so old and many employees don't know their rights, so they end up sick often. (There are infestations going on that's employees often ignore until it gets worse.) *Low pay, not a livable income.* There is not much room for growth. Career stagnation, no room for promotability. (There's merely a handful if senior paralegals and only like 2 or 3 supervising paralegals with the LADA office.)

Pros

Salaried. Chance to promote if you know the right people and have the connections.

Cons

Micromanagement up the Iliad. Very uncomfortable. Excessive nepotism and cronyism.
