Pros

-You're working with a historic brand, so you have a sense of pride when you go in each morning. -The work environment is very friendly. Everyone is warm and nurturing. Always there to lend a helping hand. -Very good work-life balance. There's a company gym. No long hours. - Good communication and synergy between the departments. Good team-building.

Cons

- There was high turnover due to the bankruptcy. Lots of layoffs and no job security. - Constant change of upper mgmt led to office politics playing a big role in who gets promoted, let go, etc. - Company was a bit slow to adapt to evolving technology. - Company goals and initiatives were too short-sighted at times. Went for immediate results and not the big picture.

Pros

Interesting work, great atmosphere , great co-workers

Cons

Terrible management in fear of losing their jobs inhibits creativity and growth for employees and the company. A disjointed lack of communication between departments; which leads to an inferior online product for the subscriber and inability to have foresight as to what issues may affect the subscribers reading experience. Shady layoff practices while hiring on site and off site temporaries, to replace those employees.
