Pros

Non-management staff are all pretty cool. Most managers, too. Journalism staff is the best. Unfortunately, these guys are subjected to the horribly run sales, advertising, marketing teams.

Cons

LAT's dwindling revenue, bankruptcy + another potential looming bankruptcy.. continues to put employees in fair of their jobs. LAT is also so behind on digital technology.

Pros

Boss and co-workers are all very nice and helpful Laid back environment, great nice work-life balance Lots of learning opportunities

Cons

Low company morale Constantly worrying about where the company/industry will go Corporate level management (CEO or above) only cares about their profits, not so much about the company or their employees

Pros

Fun being downtown. People were nice. Being surrounded by news all day was great for being up to speed with the world.

Cons

Pretty much total chaos from the business and strategy point of view. No sense of direction. Lots of rehashing old tired strategies.
