Not so great

Pros

Remote flexibility when needed, and pay was fine.

Cons

A lot of bureaucracy, there is no chance of new ideas if management. don't like them, everything has to be "the way they are used to" and there is no chance for growth. If you want to make a new idea or document, my manager would tell me it was" too detailed" and "we don't need that much" or "that's not how we do it" so I felt to suppressed on making new ideas or raising my hand on new contributions, as ultimately they were not as they are doing it. They had recent layoffs, after telling us all years that the company was growing, doing great, having new subscribers, and new innovations, and from one day to another, they had these massive layoffs because "the business needs to maintain a float" without any previous flags that the company was not doing good. felt like a mask everything in there while saying "everything as great"

Pros

Every team works incredibly hard, and we’re constantly leveling up. Creativity, rigor, and excellence are rewarded.

Cons

This isn’t a place for the faint of heart—the teams are lean and a lot will be asked of you.

Pros

1. Overall Work Environment: The company offers a positive work atmosphere, and proceed with caution due to potential layoffs. Career progression may be limited, so staying for at most 2 years is recommended for those looking to move up quickly. 2. Benefits: Generally strong benefits, although individuals who aren't expecting or don’t already have a child may find the offerings lacking in that regard. 4. Compensation: Competitive pay, but raises are infrequent, even for top performers. If you're expecting regular raises you may feel overlooked. 5. Team Communication: Most teams communicate well and work collaboratively, fostering a positive environment. (Dependent on the team you are working in and working with.) 6. Management Style: Most teams and management are supportive and avoid micromanagement, contributing to a healthy workplace culture.

Cons

1. Job Security: Layoffs are a common occurrence, with the possibility of more in the future. 2. Changes in Workforce Structure: The company is rapidly increasing hiring and shifting domestic roles to nearshore locations, with the potential for offshore outsourcing on the horizon. 3. Product Management: The product team struggles with managing their projects and products effectively, which affects overall efficiency and quality. 4. Resistance to Change: The company tends to stick with outdated processes and strategies, often expecting different results despite minimal change. 5. Lack of Collaboration: Various functions within the company tend to work in silos, limiting cross-functional communication and collaboration. 6. Start-Up Mentality: While the company faces challenges common in start-ups, it no longer operates as one, which can hinder growth and stability. 7. Limited Career Advancement: Most positions offer little to no room for career growth, leaving employees feeling stagnant after a certain period. 8. Incomplete Projects: Projects often feel rushed and underdeveloped, lacking thorough planning or execution. 9. Poor Decision-Making: Key decisions are often based on unreliable sources of information, limiting the effectiveness of those choices.
