Pros

foot traffic = more opportunity to sell spiff programs offered by the cabinet manufacturers

Cons

Schedule - depending on the store manager you might have to come in at 6AM store opening when kitchen customers don't usually arrive much before 9AM and you may be stuck with a closing shift until 11PM when the store closes at 9PM. You are expected to get power equipment license to downstock the instock cabinets even if you are the design "specialist" Management sometimes pesters you to pull a sale out of your hat even when there is no foot traffic to even get a lead. Rotating schedule (opens, ,mids, closes) and just one weekend off a month. You can not schedule an outside life since what you expect your schedule to be can change No one in management really understands how the kitchen design business works - it is really a separate store onto itself
