Life isn't fair, don't expect Lowe's to be fair.

Pros

If your unemployed, Lowe's is definitely a company to pursue. Lowe's stores do mass hiring during the spring to prepare for the "100 Days of Summer". Its a great opportunity to work as a Seasonal worker and, if your somewhat valuable, become a permanent associate at the end of the season (most likely part-time).

Cons

Work schedule consistency. There aren't many positions at Lowe's that provide a regular schedule, so weekends off are usually a long shot. Consecutive days off are rare, so work seems to consume more of your life. Unless you are Department Managers level and above, you will get shafted on employee bonuses and incentives.
