Pros

The pay was decent. The position was not what I was used to coming from corporate positions. I really loved helping to get documents together for clients but it was so face paced that I really couldn't give it a personal touch that I'm used to.

Cons

The pace was too fast forme. Just not a good fit.

Pros

I have worked at Lower as a Lending Coordinator for just less than two months and I am so incredibly thankful. I had no prior knowledge of home loans (most don’t) so there definitely is a lot to learn on that front, but the training team was so helpful and made me feel welcome and like no question was dumb (because I ask a lot of questions) . There is so much room for growth which is amazing and what I was looking for in a company.

Cons

This isn’t really a con- but it’s NOT easy and it’s definitely not for everyone. It’s a lot of really hard work & TONS to learn as well as exams to test your knowledge. I don’t think I have ever worked harder in my life or asked more questions but I have seen so much growth in my professional life in such a short time. You won’t stay in your comfort zone, that’s for sure. My only cons: 1) I wish all the employees were in one building together! 2) We get 10 days PTO until we hit year 2, then it’s 15. At my old job we got 18 days. So more yearly PTO to start off would be great 🙂
