Cons

Smaller subsidiary of an international company, with offices all over the world. Nonetheless, we work closely with other subsidiaries and our colleagues from the Headquarters in Germany, therefore you still get all the advantages of being part of an international company.

* Great location right at Alexanderplatz. * Company helps developers obtain Oracle Certifications, including paying for taking exams.

Cons

* Not Invented Here culture is pervasive. The company has written its own database, logging, IO, collection, and event sourcing libraries, meaning you won't be getting many transferrable skills with technology used elsewhere. * Transition from a German company to an "international" company could have gone a lot faster. There was still a distinct feeling that it was a German company with a few international workers, e.g. German being necessary during team lead meetings.
