This COULD HAVE been everything it promised

Pros

- Great pay - Good camaraderie between direct coworkers - Excellent potential if management/promotions were actually merit-based

Cons

- Irresponsive HR that doesn't respond/retaliates when issues are brought up - Rampant sexual harassment that is tolerated by HR (Women don't work here) - Not possible to move up unless you're friends with management - People organizing union got fired - Same technical and moral issues since Day 1 - If you're not on Day Shift you get skipped for opportunities and don't get informed at all

Great place to work if you enjoy challenges

Pros

New and unique challenges everyday. This business is fantastic for those who like to problem solve and have an ownership mentality. Lucid is also a great way to build your resume because of the unique situations you will face and how lean the company is. Employees at all levels have a chance to step up and present ideas or lead projects.

Cons

The business has grown fast and is disorganized. It doesn’t seem like executive management put much thought into the growth strategy. All departments are racing to patch up problems caused by careless expansion. You have to “wear a lot of hats” because of holes in the existing talent’s skill sets. Be prepared to step up and help a lot because the person who is supposed to be doing the work does not have the background or technical knowledge to do so. This problem was exacerbated by recent layoffs. Low non competitive pay.
