Pros

The company picks leaders who are good at helping their directs grow. If you want to grow and get new opportunities, they will make it happen.

Cons

It is hard to know how much the equity you are given will be worth, as the company is not public yet.

Pros

Great leadership, awesome people, fantastic culture. Lucid has done such a great job building a solid company culture that is reinforced in many ways. Besides having the values literally painted on the wall, they do a great job with hiring to make sure we are careful about who joins the company. I love the people I work with - both on a personal level and because they are all incredibly smart and help me to learn.

Cons

There is always a lot happening at Lucid and change happens frequently as we've grown. This can be stressful at times and it always feels like there is more to get done that I can do. But this is balanced by a strong understanding from leadership so that it never feels like too much to handle. I can't get it all done, but everyone realizes that, so there are good discussions on prioritization and alignment to working on the most important things and letting other drop. And it is much better than being bored.
