      The best startup experience possible

      Pros

      It's an honest and open working environment with lots of opportunities to take ownership of the product. Everyone is helpful and really eager to get things done. Management is really easy to work with and really allows for the teams to direct the future of the whole company. Health benefits are great and compensation seems fair across the board.

      Cons

      Not a very convenient location for those using public transportation. Company is still very young and the future is still very much up in the air. All the benefits of being a startup introduce great benefits at the cost of risk and uncertainty.

      Pros

      Lucid Software cares about its employees. We're treated well. We have a fully-stocked kitchen, vision,dental, and health benefits for full-time and quarter-time employees, paid vacation, sick leave, paternity and maternity leave, and 10 holidays. The management truly seeks out opportunities for all employees to grow and be challenged. This allows for a fun workplace, but a workplace where real work is done and real progress is made. Employees' dedication is appreciated and highlighted. We also go on retreats, have lunch brought into the office on Monday and Friday, and do many family and work activities throughout the year.

      Cons

      Some of the challenges of working in an open-air and collaborative environment is the noise level. Lucid Software is growing rapidly. As such, it can be difficult to get to know all the new employees on a personal level.

      Sometimes when there's no Coca-cola in the kitchen, you have to settle for Diet Coke. That's as bad as it gets.
