Pros

Good work life balance. Codebase and development tools are good and it is easy to push code.

Cons

Pay is mediocre in comparison to similar companies. Management gives vague feedback if you fail to promote, and promotions are largely dependent on the "flashiness" of your team's projects (which you don't have any control over). Mid-year review cycles are not in-depth, so you have a year between each chance at promotion or salary adjustment.

Pros

Fun product. Fun people to work with. Catering at the office. Encourages team bonding

Cons

A lot of meetings. So many meetings it was hard to get meaningful work done without being interrupted by another meeting. Some necessary but not all. Also a lot of managers. A lot of different managers giving differing opinions making it difficult to agree and move forward on decisions. Also meant more meetings to give checkins

Pros

I have never had a company that put's such a focus on activities and group outings as Lucid. It makes things a lot of fun and gives you the opportunity to get to know people better when not working in the office full time.

Cons

My biggest compliant is it took the upper management months longer than it should have to acknowledge the economic down churn. We went from 80%+ hitting quoting to literally a handful of people across the company. You would think that addressing the situation and trying to adjust or getting ahead of it would be the number one focus. I don't believe our feedback is heard or if it's heard it's not acted on. We say we're all about teamwork over ego but that motto has fallen to the waste side. I hope to see more proactive changes when the majority of your people are struggling. Talking about P club and running spiffs that aren't helping attainment aren't going to be taken well when we people who are worried about providing for their families going into the Holidays.
