Sad to Report, Lucky Strike is a Horribly Managed Company!
Pros
Free bowling Nice venues Positive Environment (especially at first) Versatile Venue that can accommodate large groups of people. Children's birthdays, Family parties, Bachelor/ette parties, and corporate parties/even full buyout.
Cons
Worst "health insurance" benefit plans, read the fine print, these plans are not even legally insurance. Human Resources? Nonexistent. HR is your GM contacting the HR person at Corporate and Regional Management is understaffed, unorganized, vague, and clueless about each of the venues. They rely on venues GM and Sales team to hear anything. Store management is sneaky. They are all connected together from the past and deliberately put into the position. No checks and balance in regulating the employees and the management. Everyone is honestly too terrified to give FEEDBACK in fear of under cover retaliation. Starts out with scheduling, less hours, bad sections, and broken promises. This company DOES cares only about it's public image, hence going on Undercover boss (in reality no one has seen or heard of the supposed programs and changes the CEO promised on the show) Absolutely no follow thru on promises that were made since the tv show and it's publicity. This company has zero savings, investments , and they will do anything to avoid a lawsuit or negative publicity, even if it means to let go of the most talented and loyal employees if they are accused of anything. LUCKILY LUCKY STRIKE HAS HIGH TURNOVER! Very entertaining because this company is going no where.
