      Pros

      CenturyLink has strong CLEC telecommunications products from its acquisition of Level3 Communications. There are quality people working there trying to integrate the two companies.

      Cons

      CenturyLink has an old school ILEC feel, and the integration road is long and painful. The cuts in certain areas were made by upper management with little/no knowledge of those being RIFed, and in many cases were too deep to enable those left to efficiently do their jobs.

      Days are never the same. Plenty of different opportunities that will need attention.

      Cons

      Company through it's many integrations doesn't take the time or expense to integrate legacy systems. Because of this, so much time is wasted in tracing a customer circuit or issue before action can be done on it. In addition, upper management only appears to be numbers based, at the expense of employees. Systems or processes that make sense get forced on teams before things are even close to being ready. This causes stress and more unproductive time with teams.
