Pros
It is one of the rare companies in Canada that works in optical communications industry. So if someone is interested in this field it is a good opportunity to learn. People are helpful at work in general.
Cons
Most of managers are white (middle age white men) and they tend to hire more white kids. White kids step up the ladder faster. There are one or two asian managers but they are managing people in Asia. The diversity and inclusion program is mainly tokenism.
