Pros

Salary was good, quality team had a great atmosphere.

Cons

Luminar takes too long to interview and once they are ready to offer the salary is usually higher than norm pulling people from good jobs at established companies to lay them off with no regard of what they walked away from. Their severance package is extremely low for managers and above.

Pros

-A product that provides interesting technical challenges to overcome -Very skilled individual contributors within the teams to rely on -Lunch and dinner provided

Cons

-A toxic atmosphere due to unrealistic schedules and attitude from leadership -The management team has a lack of awareness resists feedback. They look for "yes men". -Frequent shakeups in leadership and organization structure -Lack of clear direction leading to individual teams working against each other -Leadership puts individual team members in bad situations in front of customers with unrealistic schedules and promises -Employees who have stayed with the company are not rewarded with advancement in favor of outside hires -A lack of mentorship opportunities for anyone inside the company -Constant changes in priorities -Compensation based on performance is not based on assigned goals for the year as they are outdated with constant priority changes

Pros

- Free lunch _Good stock Option _ Flexible hours - Unlimited PTO -Competitive Pay - 401 K matching (from mid 2022*)

Cons

- Free lunch means lunch meetings. _Good stock Option (negotiate well during joining. Specially if recruiter is Berg) _ Flexible hours (mostly includes weekends, 7 AM meetings etc) - Unlimited PTO (Anything above 3 weeks a year needs approvals) -Competitive Pay (Work hours are definitely more than 40hrs/week. More like 50-60 hrs a week. Negotiate well if recruiter is berg) - 401 K matching (from mid 2022*)
