Disappointed

Pros

People, benefits, and PTO are amazing. Plentiful free snacks & drinks. Newly remodeled offices.

Cons

Morale is terrible. Employees try to stay positive but are all overworked, burned out, confused, and losing faith, resulting in extremely high turnover. Little to no training on complex processes - you are just expected to figure it out. Management is aware of the issues but willingly admits, that nothing is going to change. The overall atmosphere is depressing and highly stressful.

Top rated employer for good reason

Pros

Very positive team with strong emphasis on training and innovation. Focus on community charitable events as team building which added a lot to the feeling of being part of a caring coporate culture. Focus has traditionally been in the area of psychiatric and neurological medications but in recent years has added an oncology division. I was in a field based position and experienced great support from my local manager and field sales trainer.

Cons

Overall was a very positive experience but recent restructuring seems to have had a dampening effect on employee morale, especially as future plans haven't always been communicated clearly to employees.

Wonderful if you are Danish

Pros

Copenhagen is a wonderful city (for tourists) Danish culture is good to experience (for a while) Home - Work balance is valued The ethics of the company are admirable.

Cons

Don't expect fellow employees to socialise outside work hours Culturally rigid Very HQ based and focussed, for an international company Old Boys network in senior management and board level If higher management were to underachieves or miss goals it may not noticed because of continually changing and reorganising departments. Subsidiaries are considered subsidiary to HQ Renumeration/benefits are not comparable with other countries Taxation in Denmark is a major issue for relocating foreign workers to Denmark for a long period of time
