When customers didn’t want to talk to us, it still felt like we were doing something wrong. Even though I would get a customer buy 20 items I would get asked why they didn’t get 21 things

Extremely low pay and you have to make yourself and customers uncomfortable by forcing conversation to sell products.

Cons

Bullying from management, rarely any actual breaks unless your shift is long enough for a lunch, favoritism galore, chastised for using products that aren't "completely natural" and getting facials, being barked at for leaving customers be that said they did not want to be bothered, being told you're doing great then being criticized constantly still.
