Pros

The working environment is great and the colleagues are very fun to work with. You also get to try a lot of their products.

Cons

However, they expect a lot even from part-timers. You have to memorize every ingredient in every product and always be constantly tested.

Pros

The emphasis on creating a more immersive and engaging shopping experience means it’s a much more interesting retail role than the majority of ones on the high street.

Cons

How the candy shop reports are graded (including approaching customers so quickly) can make it difficult for sales associates to balance management demands with customers comfort. Incredibly limited career opportunities to move outside of store roles.

Pros

Great floor staff. Some of the most fun people you will ever work with. 50% discount on store products is useful at Christmas.

Cons

Overbearing managers and upselling pressure. Pay is usually only a little above minimum for what is an emotionally and physically exhausting job.
