Pros

Makes it easy to make friends since you trauma bond with your coworkers.

Cons

Terrible pay, no upward mobility unless you win the popularity contest, and awful managers. Rampant discrimination and retaliation and high turn-over, with no respect for tenure or skillset. Expect no support whatsoever from the company, and they’re quick to tell you to “exit the business” if you share any concerns.

- 50% discount (and even then Lush still makes a profit) - Can take home broken items

Cons

- Coworkers who don't know what boundaries are - Manager who doesn't know how to do anything and retreats to office when help is needed - Micromanaging behaviors from management: watches you like a hawk and forces you to engage and reengage with customers that very obviously wants to be left alone - Pushes sales yet forces employee to borderline harass customers, causing them to walk out without buying anything. What's the logic? - Stands all day and can't sit. - Tasks above your pay grade being forced on you, disguised as a favor (cult much?)
