Pros

My training in some areas could have been more in depth, but otherwise good. PTO time earned seemed fair. Lunchroom on premises, pay was decent, relief showed up most of the time.

Cons

Co-workers are not helpful to new employees, some managers don’t handle disputes within their departments as they happen - causing further issues. Call off procedure was wacky. Employees don’t treat each work with each other (example nursing staff with the patient service reps in the ER)

Pros

Received a $25,000 sign-on bonus upon initial hiring. Full-time positions receive $416 per month towards student loans. Decent pay. Decent benefits. Easy to transition into new roles throughout hospital.

Cons

Poor choices have been made recently to close down the heart transplant program and make a lot of other cuts hospital-wide. Higher-up management (CEO, CNO, etc.) was nowhere to be seen during COVID.

Pros

Best co workers I’ve ever had

Cons

Parents company is greedy. Like any other hospital.
