Well-Intentioned People, but Significant Issues with ADA accommodations + Operational and Leadership Gaps

I encountered several individuals here who were kind and well-intentioned. The mission of the organization is noble.
Cons
The organization struggles with internal clarity and basic operational effectiveness. The training and onboarding process is disorganized, and communication often feels unclear and reactive rather than curious or collaborative. I also had some concerns around professionalism, including (but not limited to) a lack of awareness and accommodation regarding illness, disability, and ADA considerations. I understand that nonprofits often operate with limited budgets; however, the facility itself raises health and safety questions--whether that is eternally broken elevators or the damp, musty, moldy smell that permeates the lobby and office space. Administrative processes involve significant red tape, while travel support is minimal, making participation feel disproportionate to the return. Salaries are paltry, especially for what is expected in return. One reviewer commented that it was a "bureaucratic wasteland". This comment resonates with my experience. You can practically hear the AOL dial up in the background. Based on my experience, this would not be an organization I would not choose to work with or financially support unless significant overhauls are made. They will not make the best use of your time or money.
