Education team is very knowledgeable in the area of ECE and provides excellent support and guidance to teaching staff! There is a real sense of teamwork and Dedication

Pros

Good company to remain and grow if you find a suitable career path. Most who work in my department have multiple years of experience. Great mentors and teachers amongst managers and supervisors in my experiences.

Cons

Large non-profit with room for improving onboarding, engaging, and keeping employees in positions that are demanding based on funder obligations. We work hard and at times it doesn't seem like enough. Not sure if this is fault of company as opposed to maybe negotiating for different contract goals that are attainable as well as rewarding. We are needing to learn to be more innovative and change the status quo on how business is performed - look for best practices and apply them across the agency.

Pros

Serving the community is by definition really challenging. Knowing that you have a team behind you to support you and provide needed assistance is greatly appreciated. Having a supportive supervisor, family like team, and fun environment makes it worth it.

Cons

Main con is the hours, some days you work long hours!!
