Pros

The friends I have made while working at Lutron are great people. They have trained me from relatively no experience in the lighting controls field.

Cons

Pay isn't as high as it should be for the location I live. It's doable if you are single but not if you have family.

Pros

The company is founded with engineering at its core. Most employee's come on as engineers and move into other roles, such as marketing, sales, management, etc. This sets the tone for everyone to have a respect for the time and effort required to design a product. There were a lot of high quality experienced engineers to learn form.

Cons

Window treatments and lighting are not the most captivating subjects for a mechanical engineer to work on. The electrical engineers seemed to have a different experience, as they always seemed enthralled in their work.
