Pros

Supportive and professional management Excellent work-life balance, no crunch culture Strong mentorship and constructive feedback Use of modern technologies (K8s, Docker, Airflow, etc.) Stable projects and good client engagements Competitive salary and social benefits package I spent six years at Luxoft working as a Python Developer, mainly on finance-related projects, and I can honestly say it was a very positive experience overall. From day one, the management stood out as exceptionally supportive and adequate — professional, yet approachable. I consistently received constructive feedback and mentoring that helped me grow both technically and personally. Over the years, I worked with modern tools and technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Airflow, Tableau, and Nix, which kept the work interesting and relevant. The work environment was one of the healthiest I’ve seen — no crunch time, a good balance between work and personal life, and a strong social benefits package. The tasks were mostly engaging, and the team dynamic was collaborative and respectful. Despite some increase in bureaucracy after Luxoft was acquired by DXC, the core culture remained stable and professional. While professional development resources declined a bit toward the end of my tenure, and bonuses or promotions weren’t as frequent in the later years, the overall compensation was still competitive, depending on the client project. After six years, I felt it was time to move on and explore new challenges, but I remain grateful for the time I spent at Luxoft. It was a solid chapter in my career, and I sincerely wish the company and my former colleagues all the best.

Cons

Growth opportunities slowed down in later years Bonuses and promotions became rare over time Increase in bureaucracy after DXC acquisition Professional development and upskilling support decreased toward the end
